Steamed rice roll or sometimes called cheung fun is another famous dim sum. It’s made of rice flour, usually steamed it, and eat it with soy sauce. Usually as a snack before the main dishes or as a dim sum. Rice roll is really easy to cook, have many ways to cook and have many different fillings, such as shrimp, beef, roast pork and vegetables or other ingredients. The popular fillings have shrimp, roast pork and beef, usually people will choose those kinds of rice roll. All of them need to serve with the soy sauce, the sauce is very important, because without soy sauce it taste bland. The steamed rice roll taste soft, moist and slippery, it’s very different with other food, none of UK’s food taste like that. It’s will be a novel food for English. In the different Cantonese restaurant will have the different soy sauce, they usually made them own special soy sauce to make different flavour, and competition with another restaurants.
